Train links direct from London's Kings Cross to St Albans or Radlett (Radlett is located a short 5 mins drive)

Can hold well over 2000 people very comfortably (our premises license allows us up to 5000 people)
We have security lighting in place to cover the whole area - this is all inclusive within the price
Inclusive within the price is also a purpose built stage giving you that unique festival feel.
We have a premises license until 11pm which can be extended until 12am for a small extra cost.
You can hire from us the lighting systems including static lights, moving head lights and lasers all with a controller for the stage. In addition you can also hire a pa system with speakers, monitors and mixer. All of this can be hired for a very small fraction of the cost you'd normally pay anyone else.
Prices start from £3,500 - these prices are based on approx upto 150 people attending - the costs includes: a maximum of 2 days before to set up, and 1 day after for taking down (unless your event falls on the Saturday in which case its 2 days after) and of course - the day of the function. Please note that the rigging and de-rigging days are not exclusive and someone else may be rigging up when you may be de-rigging and vica versa. If additional days are needed for setting up or taking down, we charge an additional £500.00 per day.
The venue hire fee is based on a dry hire of the field. This does however, include the stage, security lighting, the bar, covered sheltered area, car parking (for weddings only) and of course the land.
There is a fully licensed bar on the premise that is fully operated by Springfield Farm and is a condition of any hire. No alcohol or vendors are allowed to bring in drinks of any form - all drinks must be purchased via the licensed bar.

Licensing Act 2003 - The premises is currently licensed under the Licensing Act 2003 and has Music, Dancing and the sale of Alcohol permitted from 12pm upto 11pm. we are able to extend this to 12am for a small cost but if you require longer, a Temporary Events Notice (TEN) will be needed to be in place. If a license is required, the Hirer must obtain a Temporary Events Notice for the period of the hire from St Albans District Council. It is the responsibility of the hirer and the hirer confirms here that they will take full liability to make sure a TEN is in place for the event if it is to run past our operating times. Outside drinks will not be permitted on the premises.
Although, we have a lot of open grounds surrounding the venue, noise from amplifiers can and does travel, especially at night time... although the noise may sound great at the source, unfortunately, in the distance all they will hear is a constant thumping which after hours can become extremely annoying and frustrating. To combat noise, Springfield Farm has spent thousands to have a soundproof stage built here for your use.
